Captain Ron Knott
Ron flew Navy Fighter Aircraft from the deck of many Aircraft Carriers
around the world. After seven years of active duty with the Navy he joined Delta Airlines, as pilot, and flew for that company
more than 30 years. He continued to fly in the Naval Reserves for an additional six years. He has also owned and operated
several civilian aircraft over the years.
Ron says, “I have never flown an airplane that I did not like. However,
after more than 20,000 accident-free hours of flying, over a 50 year span, none could erase the thrill of flying the Crusader.
 He has developed over 20 large real estate projects; owned and operated
Ron Knott & Associates, Inc., an Oil & Gas production company. He started World Wide Imports that sold Mercedes Benz,
BMW, Porsche and other fine Automobiles.
He said, “The Navy taught me multi-tasking in assigning me several
duties at one time.”
Ron has authored several Bible Studies and Christian Books. “Trophies
of Heaven” was his first book and is now in its 5th printing. Next he authored “Battered Believers” exposing
legalism in the churches. His next book was “God’s Guarantees for Giving” that explains the Bible way to
give and error taught by many groups. And his latest book, “Testimonies for the Soul” tells of mighty miracles
of mercy.
Ron is past president of the North Texas chapter of International Fellowship
of Christian Businessmen. He has appeared on many radio and television talk shows and had his own TV talk show for several
months. He and his wife Sharon are generous donors to the needy.
They have visited and contributed to orphanages in Russia, Romania, Korea, and the Philippines. He is a true philanthropist.
Ron and his wife Sharon have been blessed with 2 boys and 2 girls, 5 grandchildren,
plus a host of children they support around the world. He practices
the directive, It is better to give than to receive. He says, “I had much rather be on the giving end, than having to
be on the receiving end.”
